Started playing age 11 with Kingsway Youth, moved to the infamous British Aerospace at 16.  On return from uni played for Milnrow then Moston & Beswick and finally moved to Ashton (on Baritone!!!) in 2006.

At a recent concert, kids in tow, my daughter announcing to the entire audience as Phil stood up to play a solo that Daddy had to play a solo because Mummy was rubbish!!!  There's nothing so honest as children!!  Skinny dipping in a fountain in Torquay after coming 2nd at National Finals and breaking two toes not so funny for me but the rest of the band thought this was hilarious!!

Anything Else ?

My special talent is being able to play the entire opening of Vienna Nights on Baritone using my water key.  I don't think anyone ever noticed!! (Oh yes we did !)
